What you'll need to succeed as a Truck Driver at XPO\nMinimum qualifications:\n\u2022 Be at least 21 years of age\n\u2022 Valid Class A commercial driver's license\n\u2022 Safe driving record and history\n\u2022 Currently possess hazardous materials, tank vehicle and doubles/triples endorsements\n\u2022 Pass a DOT drug test and have no prior positive tests or refusals in the last 3 years\n\u2022 Hold a valid DOT Medical Certificatio\n...\nn Card or pass a company-paid DOT physical\n\u2022 Available to work a flexible schedule that's up to 12-14 hours a day, including day, night and weekend shifts\nPreferred qualifications:\n\u2022 Forklift experience\n\u2022 Currently possess hazardous materials, tank vehicle and doubles/triples endorsements\nAbout the Truck Driver Job\nPay, benefits and more:\n\u2022 Home daily\n\u2022 Pay starts at $28.49/hour\n\u2022 This is a Motor Carrier Act Exempt position\nWhat you'll do on a typical day:\n\u2022 Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination, including doubles and triples\n\u2022 Provide excellent service to customers, including generating sales leads\n\u2022 Load and unload freight\nTruck Drivers are required to:\n\u2022 Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights (frequently up to 50 lbs. and occasionally greater than 75 lbs.); move and position a converter dolly with an average weight/pull force of approximately 128 lbs.\n\u2022 Safely climb in/out of a tractor cab/trailer\n\u2022 Sit for extended periods in a truck tractor and/or on a forklift; safely operate heavy equipment and a forklift\n\u2022 Walk and stand for extended periods on various surfaces that may be uneven or slippery (including working outdoors in inclement weather)\n\u2022 Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel\n\u2022 Operate a tractor-trailer combination for up to 11 consecutive hours, in all types of weather, while safely transporting hazardous/non-hazardous materials\nDon't have your CDL-A yet?
