LEAD DRIVER\nJob Description\nLead Non-CDL Driver\nReports to: Facility Manager or Transportation Manager\nClassification: Non-Exempt\nSUMMARY\nThe Driver plays a key role in the success of our business. The successful individual will be able to safely and efficiently complete customer collection routes with varying schedules and deadlines. This individual will interact with customers, employees,\n...\nmembers of senior management, and regulatory representatives. Drivers must follow all safety and compliance regulations. In every case, this individual must present themselves with the professionalism and discretion appropriate for each interactive situation.\nDrivers are equipped with a convertible hand truck to dolly heavier or multiple containers from the generator\u2019s storage to our vehicle for transport.\nTrilogy offers Competitive pay plus incentives with paid-time off and amazing benefits, including access to medical, dental, vision insurance, company-paid life and disability, 401(k) savings plan with company match, and other wellness offerings. Compensation is negotiable and based on experience.\nPay Rate : $27.00 - $30.00 per hour\nPRIMARY JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES\n\u2022 Collect containers from health care offices\n\u2022 Drive vehicle to customer location along determined route collecting material for delivery to designated location\n\u2022 Report for and successfully complete all training as required\n\u2022 Prepare and report pre & post trip inspections\n\u2022 Maintain Driver\u2019s Hours of Service Log as required\n\u2022 Review and sign manifests and shipping papers\n\u2022 Provide customer training (manifesting, packaging, etc)\n\u2022 Properly label, load and secure materials for transport\n\u2022 Clean, wash and refuel vehicle as needed\n\u2022 Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management\nQUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS\n\u2022 Must have a good driving record within 3 years; no accident reported\n\u2022 Must have excellent customer service skills with other employees, customers and regulators\n\u2022 Must understand how to use computer for data entry\n\u2022 Must be able to use software app on mobile phone for manifest documentation\n\u2022 Excellent organizational and prioritization skills\n\u2022 Quickly adapt to changing business demands\n\u2022 Quickly grasp and adapt to new tasks, software and protocols\n\u2022 Must meet all applicable DOT and licensing requirements\n\u2022 Licensed for vehicle to be driven (min. Class C); Class A or Class B license also acceptable\n\u2022 Must be able to obtain and maintain a Medical Examiner\u2019s Card (MEC)\nEXPECTED HOURS OF WORK\n\u2022 Able to work an agreed upon standard schedule\n\u2022 Additional hours as job duties demand\nTRAVEL - OTHER\n\u2022 Travel to domestic Trilogy facilities when necessary (less than 10%)\n\u2022 Must have a current, valid driver's license\n\u2022 Able to be insurable under our company's liability insurance policy\nWORK CONDITIONS\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
