Job Description Empire Building Diagnostics is seeking a commercial driver with an existing CDL. Roll-Off experience a plus. The driver will be tasked with driving a roll-off truck as well as making deliveries to job sites as needed. Looking for a driver with a positive attitude to grow with our company. Duties and Responsibilities: Roll Off Drivers typically work weekdays (Monday thru Friday). Empire Building Diagnostics Roll Off Drivers typically begin work at 7:00 am each day or at a time designated by the supervisor. Expectations: • Work safely, professionally and efficiently with other drivers, customers, supervisors, and landfill staff. • Hook/Unhook load at delivery and pickup. • Tarping of all loads with Auto-tarper. • Occasional realignment of loads prior to tarping. • Filling out load reports or other paperwork legibly and accurately each day. • Handling deliveries of small equipment and helping job sites get set up. • Prior construction site experience preferred. • Turn in proper paperwork each day by a designated time. Required Training/Prerequisites: • YOU MUST HAVE A CDL CLASS B FOR THIS POSITION. • You must have at least 2 years of commercial driving. • You must pass a Pre-Employment DOT physical, as well as a drug test. Education and Certifications: Commercial Driver's License - Copy must be provided with application. Compensation & Schedule: • Job Type: Full-time • Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour (Expected hours: 40 per week) • Schedule: 8 hour shift, Home daily • Experience: Commercial driving: 2 years (Preferred) • License/Certification: CDL B (Required) • Work Location: On the road Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off
